Great Results From Our Kyu Grading

CONGRATULATIONS!

To all our students who successfully graded today under the expert and watchful eye of Sensei Steve Carless 6th Dan.

Grading is an important part of a students karate journey and helps keep them motivated and have their progress recognised. More importantly it’s a way of showing that all of the hard work they have been doing in class is paying off. Constant and Never Ending Improvement (Kaizen).

The grading followed a great training session with Steve Sensei, working on Focus and distance with Mawashigeri (Roundhouse Kick). We then moved on to katas Heian Shodan, Bassai Dai and Kanku Dai.

A big Thank You to Steve Sensei for traveling over from Walsall to host a very enjoyable training session and grading. Also great to see Steve Ashby from Bristol and Steve Furniss from Hull.
